Privacy Policy
TSUTAU (the app and this website) is a daily puzzle with no accounts. This page lists everything it collects. Last updated: 2026-10-06.
What is sent
On your first drop on the sheet of the day, the sheet number and whether you play in the app or on the web are sent, so that the number of people who started can be counted. It is kept only as a count, with nothing else attached.
When you finish the sheet of the day, one result is sent to our server so that the world tally can be shown:
- a random value created on your device for that day only. It changes every day, so results from different days cannot be linked to each other;
- the sheet number;
- where you placed the drops on each try;
- whether this device or browser finished the sheet of the day before, on that day (yes or no only; nothing that links the two days is sent);
- the version of the sheet rules the app or page used, so that a result for a sheet made by other rules is not counted;
- whether the result came from the app or from the web.
The number of starts and the yes or no about the day before are also used, as totals only, to see how many people who start a sheet finish it and how many come back the next day, so that the puzzle can be improved.
Past sheets and practice sheets are never sent. In the app, you can switch off taking part in the world tally in Settings.
IP address
To keep the tally from being inflated, the sending IP address is hashed with a salt that changes every day, and the hash is used only to limit how many starts and results one address can add per sheet. Only the hash is stored, and it is deleted a few days later (see “How long it is kept”).
The providers that host this website and the database may keep standard access logs under their own policies. We do not use them to identify players.
How long it is kept
- The random value and the IP hash are deleted a few days after the day of their sheet, normally within a week of being sent. The clean-up runs when the first start or the first result for a new sheet arrives, so while neither has arrived for a new sheet they stay until one does.
- The drop positions of each try are used to work out the result and are not stored. Only a placement that reached par is kept, as a count of the results that used it, for about 40 days; the same clean-up removes it.
- The totals of each sheet (how many started, how many finished, with which result, from the app or the web, and how many of them had finished the sheet before) are kept with no time limit. They are counts and cannot be traced back to a person or a device.
What is not collected
No account, name or e-mail address. No advertising. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No location.
On your device
Your progress and settings stay on your device (app storage, or this browser's local storage on the web). You can erase them from the app's Settings, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Where it is stored
Results are stored on Supabase, in the Tokyo region (Japan).
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, this page is updated. For questions about this policy or about TSUTAU, please write to hppsm0516@icloud.com with [TSUTAU] in the subject. The app's Settings (Contact) opens a message to the same address. The contact shown on TSUTAU's App Store or Google Play page can be used as well.

送るもの
その日の盤で最初にたらしたとき、始めた人の数を数えるために、盤の番号と、アプリか Web かの区別を送ります。これは件数だけとして数え、ほかには何も結びつけません。
その日の盤を終えたとき、世界の集計を表示するために、結果を1件だけサーバに送ります。
- その日のためだけに端末で作る乱数（毎日変わるので、別の日の結果どうしを結びつけることはできません）
- 盤の番号
- 各回に滴を置いた場所
- この端末・ブラウザで前の日の盤を終えたかどうか（その日のうちに終えた場合だけ「はい」。はい・いいえだけで、2日を結びつけるものは送りません）
- アプリや Web が盤を作るのに使った盤の決まりの版（別の決まりで作った盤の結果を数えないため）
- アプリから送ったか、Web から送ったかの区別
始めた件数と前の日についての「はい・いいえ」は、件数の合計としてだけ、始めた人のうち終えた人の割合と、次の日も遊んだ人の割合を見て、パズルを改善するためにも使います。
過去の盤と練習盤の結果は送りません。アプリでは、設定で世界の集計への参加をオフにできます。
IP アドレス
集計の水増しを防ぐため、送信元の IP アドレスを日替わりのソルトでハッシュ化し、1つのアドレスから1つの盤に加算できる開始と結果の件数を制限する目的にだけ使います。保存するのはハッシュだけで、数日後に削除します（下の「保存する期間」）。
この Web サイトとデータベースを提供する事業者が、各社の方針に従って通常のアクセスログを保持することがあります。私たちがそれを利用者の特定に使うことはありません。
保存する期間
- 乱数と IP アドレスのハッシュは、その盤の日の数日後、通常は送信から1週間以内に削除します。削除の処理は新しい盤に最初の開始の通知か最初の結果が届いたときに動くため、新しい盤にどちらも届いていない間は、次に届くまで残ります。
- 各回に滴を置いた場所は、結果の計算に使うだけで保存しません。パーに届いた置き方だけを、その置き方を使った結果の件数として約40日間保存し、同じ処理で削除します。
- 盤ごとの集計（始めた人数、終えた人数、結果ごとの人数、アプリと Web の内訳、前の盤も終えていた人数）は、期限を決めずに保存します。件数だけなので、個人や端末にさかのぼることはできません。
集めないもの
アカウント・氏名・メールアドレスは集めません。広告はありません。解析・追跡用の SDK は入っていません。位置情報は使いません。
端末の中に残るもの
進行状況と設定は端末の中（アプリの保存領域、Web ではこのブラウザのローカルストレージ）に保存されます。アプリの設定から、または、ブラウザでこのサイトのデータを消去することで削除できます。
保存先
結果は Supabase（東京リージョン）に保存します。
